I had a Whistle that broke a year ago. I ordered another. A year to the date, that broke as well. They replaced it. That one lasted 10 days. Then it broke, too.
I was told that they could replace it again, but that since they weren't making this model anymore, it would likely just break, too, since they weren't bothering to upgrade or fix issues anymore. They suggested I simply purchase a new one, for more money. I asked for some kind of discount for the hours spent on the phone with them, as well as the fact that it was a completely unprofessional way to deal with a customer. They "generously" offered me the 20% discount that was already on their website for anyone to purchase a device.
I'm not sure why they didn't tell me the first time it broke that this was like an Apple-scheme--just a way to make money by forcing you to upgrade. At least that would have been honest.
Site took a long time to load.

Great product, I couldn't be happier with it!! It gives me piece of mind and protection for our pup ????????
I live out in the country and my dogs will take off . One day when it was 107* outside and I had to go out into the farmland fields to get them. Whistle lead me right to them. When I got to them , one of my dogs was having a heat stroke. If it wasn't for Whistle and how fast I found them . My dog would have died. I have used Whistle for many years now. I would be lost without it.
This is my second Whistle, and the most advanced yet.....The peace of mind it gives an owner of their pet is immeasurable. The new whistle Go, also gives you health reports on sleep, licking & scratching; along with daily activity. Wish I had one years ago; have referred all my children.
Randomly tells us Bandit has left the safe zone. when he is in the house sleeping. Has not been updating his activities.

the website shopping experience was fine, the checkout experience was great, my only beef is that this product, which you claim is great for cats and dogs,is mainly marketed towards dogs. I went on to the site to purchase some more attachments for different collars since I have to order special collars made through Etsy for any of the devices to fit properly on my cats. One product I would love to see would be a silicon sleeve or bumper to wrap around the device so that when a dog or cat lies on pavement or concrete it is protected from scratches and generalized shock.
Customer service and policies with this company is ok.... until the device stops working. Despite paying $200 for a 2 year plan, once the device is out of warranty, they will only offer you a 20 percent off on a new device. And then, only because we are in COVID did they finally agree to prorate the remaining service contract. Otherwise they won’t refund the subscription service when the device doesn’t work
My suggestion is that if you still want this device , just pay as you go and buyer beware when the product stops working
Email for $20 Discount code sent by friend failed to work. I called your support and they gave me a new code. I immediately made my order via PayPal, entered that code, and it failed to affect the price. I have emailed your support person to ask if he can refund the $20 to my PayPal.
I certainly hope the product works better than your ordering system because I am counting on it to keep my dog safe on her trip.
UPDATE: in response to the Whistle reply - I already reached out to customer support 3 times prior to cancelation. Last straw was charging me $15 for expedited shipping on a device that never reached me and was neither sent via an expedited service. You can sell your LTE/G4 all you want but the design flaws and actual tracking capability is STILL subpar.
I've been using Whistle for over 4 years. Recently upgraded to the Whistle GO Explore and the device broke from its attachment a day after I set it up. We also experienced significant delays in notification outside the safe zone - far more than the Whistle 3. Utter disappointment. I cancelled my subscription.
The technician who helped was very straightforward with resolving the issue. Asked if I ever encountered this same problem before and told me that because our whistle device was out of warranty and that he couldn't replace it which is what needed to be done for battery issue we were having. He offered a discount on the purchase of a new device and explained the differences in the devices available today, and thanked us for being loyal customers. Now that's true customer service!
I was debating which gps tracker would be easier to use and also the best tracker for my Bengals. Size appears to be an issue with all of the trackers I looked at. I finally settled on Whisper and have very happy with the product and support
